Jacob Devon Brown, age 26, of Copperhill, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born on June 13, 1997 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to Priscilla Green Taylor and Donald Lee Brown. Jacob loved the outdoors, listening to music, and playing video games. Jacob most enjoyed his time spent being with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kasandra Storm Brown; grandparent, Larry Bice Green; and uncle, Michael Joe Brown.

He is survived by his mother, Priscilla Taylor (Ted Taylor); father, Donnie Brown; siblings, Damian Brown (Kayla), Michael Brown, Dakota Brown, Kyndra Brown, Heaven Taylor, Desirae Taylor, and Kaylie Taylor; maternal grandparent, Barbara Payne (James); paternal grandparents, Lana Sue Brown and Bobby Joe Brown; aunts and uncles, Kim Green, Michelle Chason (Blair), Bobby Ray Brown, and Keri Callihan; and nieces and nephews, Camden Carver, Connor Guffey, Aiden Brown, Westyn Taylor, Oakley Orr, and Charlotte Orr.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Darvin Couch officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Damian Brown, Michael Brown, Ted Taylor, Devin Lowery, David Green, and Jeremy Ferguson. James Payne served as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to help defray final expenses.
