Jack Edward Lowery, age 69, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Jack was born on April 25, 1953 in Fannin County to the late James Hoke Lowery and the late Ollie Lee Smith Lowery. He worked as an upholsterer for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Hazel Lowery, John H. Lowery, Blanche Lowery, James W. Lowery, Maude Lowery, Joyce Lowery, Doris Ann Gray, Carol Sue Henry, and Bobby Gene Lowery. He is survived by his sons; James Lowery, Greg Lowery, Chris Green, Anthony Lowery, and Brandon Lowery; daughters, Stephanie Ensley and Crystal Lowery; a brother, Charles Lowery; a sister, Edith Lowery Fox; and many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends. The funeral service for Mr. Lowery will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Akins-Cobb with Rev. Joey Ensley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Majestic Cemetery with Raymond Gray, Scott Williams, James Lowery, Greg Lowery, Chris Green, and Brandon Lowery serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray final expenses.
