Jack E. Dunn, age 71, of Farner, TN passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home. Mr. Dunn was born on June 2, 1950 in Polk County, TN to the late Lloyd Dunn and Mattie Dunn. Jack was a certified member of the Gospel Ministry through Community Baptist Church and a life-time member of Community Baptist Church. He worked for AWS Waste Systems for many years. Jack worked for the TN State Forestry Fire Department for seventeen years. He was a volunteer for the East Polk Fire and Rescue Service. Jack was an avid outdoors man that enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Blanch Dunn and Reegene Taylor. Jack is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Lillie Alice Dean Dunn; three daughters, Brenda L. Bain of Reliance, TN, Linda J. Dunn of Farner, TN and Sabrina A. Wilcox of Benton, TN; two sons-in-law, William S. Bain and Justin G. Wilcox; four grandchildren, Steven C. Bain, Ashley N. Bain, Kayla M. Wilcox, Austin R. Wilcox; five sisters, Martha Wooten, Rosie Payne, Mary Jones, Glenda Faye Farner, Kathy Wilcox and four brothers, James Dunn, Wade Dunn, Tommy Dunn and Bobby Joe Dunn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Community Baptist Church with Rev. Mitchell Allen and Rev. Randall Payne. Music will be by the Joint Heirs. Interment will follow in the Old Community Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Wooten, Paul DuBois, Daryl Tankersley, Bryan Todd, Edward Payne and Joseph Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Farner and Jerry Jones.
