Jack Leo Cogswell, age 89, of Suches, passed away on April 29, 2019. He was born on January 4, 1930, in Lynchburg, VA, to the late Leo and Victoria Irene Oakes Cogswell. He was a member of Wilscot Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later worked as a Salesman for Sears. He is survived by his caretakers, Ronald and Lesa Tipton. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Wilscot Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Music will be provided by Natasha Davenport. Full military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
