Mrs. Inez Mull Davis, age 73, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home. She was born in Mineral Bluff, on January 6, 1948, to the late Carl W. Mull and Lona Little Mull. Inez was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. After graduating high school, Inez was hired at a large Department Store in Atlanta to model their latest fashions. After coming back home and working at Levi Strauss and Co., she married Windell and started their family. She also enjoyed working in the library with her good work friends at Mineral Bluff Elementary and East Fannin for many years. Inez loved her family immensely, reading her bible, and quoting the scripture. She enjoyed singing a cappella gospel hymns and researching genealogy. She had a green thumb and could make any plant, tree, or flower flourish. She will be remembered for cooking delicious southern foods, renowned for her biscuits and gravy, and taking care of babies and children. Inez married Windell Davis, almost 55 years ago, on December 9, 1966. She is the mother of Vincent (Christal) Davis, Vernon (Lanita) Davis, Jeffery Davis, Dannette Davis (Eric Brucker), and Denise (Randy) Roberts; grandmother of Keshia (Kevin) Dover, Kayla (Andrew) Davenport, Jenny Lynn (Justin) Dover, Danielle Roberts, Heather Roberts, Kasch Brucker, Kurt Brucker, Kirstan Brucker, Jakob Brucker, Shaylee Jones, Rev. Will (Suzie) Davis, Logan Davis, Jackson Davis, Courtney Davis, Tristan Davis, Riley Davis, Cole Bolling, Chase Bolling, Kaitlyn Bolling, Emilie Bolling, Austin Lance, and Carder Lance; great-grandmother of Kylan Dover, Kyndall Dover, Gabriel Davenport, Pippa Davenport, Jonathan Dover, Veronica Ramsey, Cason Roper, Willie Davis, Waylon Davis, Karlie Harkins, and Ariana Holden; daughter-in-law, of Margaret Davis and the late Lawrence Davis; sister of the late Betty (Max) Hunt, Eunice (Johnny) Fleming, Martha (Larry) Pittman, Marie Talley and the late Clarence "Bud" Talley, the late Norman Mull, William (Jeannette) Mull, Hobert Mull, Thomas Mull, Wilma Elrod, and Geraldine Mull; sister-in-law of Kathleen (Rev. Buddy) Pittman, Rev. Weldon (Judy) Davis, Charlotte Land and the late Wendell Land, Randall (Tammy) Davis, Janet (Gerald) Clore, Sharon Wilson, Patsy (Steve) Wood, and Sir John (Connie) Davis; and the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Will Davis officiating. Music was provided Lisa McFarland, Kevin Carter, and Hannah Bryant. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Pallbearers were Jackson Davis, Kasch Brucker, Kylan Dover, Gabriel Davenport, Tristan Davis, Kurt Brucker, Jakob Brucker, Logan Davis, and Jonathan Dover.
