Inez Crawford, age 73, of Isabella, TN passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Inez was born on March 12, 1936 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Roscoe and Cora Baker Crawford. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include sisters, Maybelle Bottoms of Cleveland, TN, Marie Hughes of Isabella, TN and Christine Stanley of Cohutta, GA; nieces, Jessica Lanuge, Laura Hughes, Courtney Cruse, Hannah Cruse; nephews, Ryan Suits, Jason Stanley, Ronnie Hughes, Jimmy and wife, Susan Hughes, Stephen and wife, Becky Cruse, Chris and wife, Tammy Stinnett; a special friend, Bob Curtis also survives. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with the Brother Mike Jarrett and Winston Jones officiating. Music was by Mary Jones and The Beach Family. Interment followed in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronnie Hughes, Jimmy Hughes, Stephen Cruse, Chris Stinnett, Ryan Suits, Jeremiah Bolling and Terry McClure. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
