Obituary

Mr. Huey Lee Prince, age 58, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in the Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA. He was born in Polk County, TN on February 1, 1950 to the late Horace Prince and Cleo Hampton Prince. He worked in construction. He was a member of the United Church of God in Cleveland, TN. Mr. Prince was the proud father of 4 children, and loving husband, grandfather, and father-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Lou Clore Prince of Mineral Bluff; children, Angel Prince of Mineral Bluff, Davin Prince and his wife Trai of Mineral Bluff, Miachelle Fox and her husband Darrell of Chatsworth, and Veronica Stover and her husband Doug of Chatsworth; mother and father-in-law, Rev Roy and Blanche Clore of Mineral Bluff; brothers, John Prince of Isabella, TN and Bobby Prince of Ducktown, TN; sisters, Dorothy Adams of Maine, Betty McFarland of Copperhill, Geneva Hughes of Isabella, Shirley Flores of Ft. Worth, TX, and Susan Milam of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Ashlynn Prince, Devin Prince, Dakota Fox, and Seth Fox; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Rick Beam officiating. Pallbearers were John Prince, Ed Cantrell, E.L. Ware, Mike Prince, Bobby Owensby, and Davin Prince. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Clore, Randy Deal, Jason Cox, Bobby Prince, Clint Davenport, and Edward Ware. Interment followed in the Mary Bell Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, GA. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
