Mr. Hubert G. "Whitie" Hosch, age 84, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Henry Hosch and Louvettie Adell Roberts Hosch; sister, Claudine Hosch; and brothers, Homer Hosch and Junior Hosch. Mr. Hosch was born August 7, 1923 in Gwinnett County, GA. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA after 32 years of service and was a member of the U. A. W. Local No. 10. He was a member and deacon of West Buford Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Willie Mundy Hosch of Buford, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Joe Adams of Lawrenceville, GA, and Priscilla and Dr. Tom Jordan of Epworth, GA; grandchildren, Melanie Cooper of Lawrenceville, GA, Christa Jordan Webb and husband Jason Webb of Blue Ridge, GA, Jonathan Jordan of Epworth, GA; great grandchildren, Marc Cooper of Lawrenceville, GA, Barrett Webb of Blue Ridge, GA, and Evie Webb of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Mrs. Montine Hosch Samples of Alpharetta, GA; sister-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Hosch of Temple, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services were conducted of Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Rev. Jerry Bennett and Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment followed in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. Pallbearers were Jonathan Jordan, Jason Webb and Deacons of West Buford Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers were Deacons of West Buford Baptist Church and the Adult Men's Sunday School Class.
