Mr. Howard Harry Huff, age 89, of Morganton, GA passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in the Copper Basin Medical Center in Ducktown, TN. Mr. Huff was born on August 24, 1922 in Monroe, OH to the late John Huff and Angeline Martin Huff. He was a self-employed contractor and was a member of Carthedge United Methodist Church in California, Kentucky. He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Huff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lexie Ruth Huff of Morganton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Howard John Huff and Janet K. Huff of Morganton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jodean H. Adams and Joe Adams of Fenton, Michigan; stepson and his wife, Dale Prentice and Mary Prentice of Gaylord, Michigan; stepdaughters and their spouses, Cheryl Cornellier and Bryan Cornellier of Holt, Michigan, Darla Atkins and Mike Atkins of Cedar Park, Texas; six grandchildren, RayLynn Huff, Mary Huff, Sandy Gobble, Jeremiah Prentice, Meghan Prentice, and Brandon Cornellier; and one great grandchild, Lily Prentice. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Michael Huff and Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating.
