Mr. Howard Reid "Ted" Gregory, age 39, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Gregory was born on March 6, 1973 in West Palm Beach, FL. He worked for Home Depot as a Freight Team Supervisor and was a Fannin County EMT and Fire Fighter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Lockwood Gregory; and a brother Randy Gregory. He is survived by his wife, Tanya Gregory of Mineral Bluff; daughter, Jacqueline Christine Gregory of Mineral Bluff; father and his wife, Ralph and Sally Gregory of West Palm Beach, FL; parents-in-law, William and Patricia Galbraith of Blue Ridge; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Carol Gregory of Mocksville, NC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Doug Denzer of Greensboro, NC and Sheila and Steve Hauther of Tobaccoville, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Chaplain Darvin Couch officiating. Interment followed in Chastain Memorial Park with Fireman's Last Call by Fannin County Fire Department. Donations in Ted's memory may be made to the Fannin County Fire Department.
