Mr. Howard Francis Cole age 82, of Blairsville, GA who passed away on May 31, 2010. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.Survivors include his wife, Lucille L. Cole of Blairsville, GA; one son, David H. Waldschmitt of Lakeport, CA; one sister, Bernice Garren of Morganton, GA; and one grandchild.Funeral services were conducted on Thursday June 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Ray Queen officiating. Interment followed in the Sugar Creek Cemetery with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
