Hobert Charles Mull, age 69, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Canton, Georgia.
He was born on November 1, 1955 in Mineral Bluff, Georgia to Carl William Mull and Lona Little Mull. In his early years, he worked in carpet manufacturing, and later worked as an auto body and paint technician. He retired from Carmeuse Mining, where he served as a loader operator. Hobert was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing in the mountains that he called home. He loved to watch Nascar and dirt track racing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and helping others.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Betty Jean Hunt, Inez Mull Davis, Norman Mull, and Thomas Mull.
Hobert is survived by his spouse, Eloise Tankersley Mull; children, Melody Cole (Matthew) of Turtletown, TN, Charles Mull (Amy) of Blue Ridge, GA, Rebecca Worley of Epworth, GA, Austin Tankersley of Epworth, GA, and Faith Tankersley of Epworth, GA; grandchildren, Taylor Mull, Kaigan Mull, Kelsey Lynch, Chadler Mull, Tallie Mull, Annalise Mull, Tameron Cordell, Ally Nix, Alexia Bennett, Morgan Worley, and Clayton Worley; great-grandchildren, Oakley Cochran, Nova Lynch, Wrenleigh Mull, and Everest Cordell; siblings, Eunice Fleming, Martha Pittman, Marie Talley, Geraldine Mull, Wilma Elrod, and William Mull; other extended relatives, and dear friends.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Patterson Family Cemetery with Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Matthew Cole, Chris Ross, Dusty Manuel, Austin Tankersley, Josh Mull, Mickey Patterson, Greg Bryant, and Kalin Patterson. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning, prior to the service from 10:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
