Mr. Herbert Charles McCoy, age 79, of Farner, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. He was born on June 9, 1943 in Reading, PA to the late Herbert McCoy and Juanita Fontaine McCoy. He retired from the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War and attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lois Kheen, Viola McCoy Milligan, Evelyn Rothenberger, Jean McCoy, and Peg McCoy.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann McCoy; children, Jodie (Darren) Gravat, Dan (Lisa) McCoy, and Michael McCoy; grandchildren, Rebekah Gravat, Emily Ray, Matthew McCoy, and Ryan McCoy; and sisters, Linda Marone and Juanita Koenig.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the Georgia National Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the United States Air Force. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinscobb.com.
