Helen Marie Ralston, age 93 of Morganton, GA passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. She was born on July 19, 1933, in Cleveland, TN to the late Henry Paul and Beulah Davis Snyder. Mrs. Ralston had worked as a Respiratory Therapist for Fannin Regional Hospital for many years. She was a long time and devoted member of the Eastside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lee Ralston; son, Dr. Jeffrey Ralston; and one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include her children, Donna (Richard) Tipton, Robert P. "Butch" Ralston, David W. (Donna Whitener) Ralston, and Joel L. Ralston; "adopted daughter" Cynthia Panter; grandchildren, Larry Tankersley, Jr., Carrie Tankersley, Kevin Ralston, Shawn Ralston, Stephen Ralston, Russell Ralston, and Camille Ralston Cowin; and great-grandchildren, Dalton Tankersley, Amber York, Adam York, Aiden Ralston, Easton Ralston, Abel Ralston, June Ralston, Stetson Ralston, Audrey Ralston, Liam Ralston, Hallie Ralston and Sofia Cowin.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Terry Stuart officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dalton Tankersley, Shawn Ralston, Stephen Ralston, Adam York, Aiden Ralston, Easton Ralston and Sammy Bullock. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service hour of 1:00 p.m.
