Mrs. Helen Anna June Herrmann, age 84, of Morganton, GA passed away on Friday May 2, 2008 following an extended illness with Cancer. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late William and Annastacia Diebel Kaiser. Mrs. Herrmann was a loving mother, homemaker and wife. She was a former resident of Springfield, NJ and Ft. Pierce, FL where she was a member of the Presbyterian Churches. She was also active in the High Point Women's Club in Ft. Pierce, FL; she was also active as a Hospice volunteer and the Republican Women's Club in Slidell, FL. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Walter Weston Baldwin of forty one years and Ray Herrmann of eleven years. Survivors included one daughter, Deborah and Husband John Edward Thompson of Morganton, GA; step-daughters, Cheryl Jacquin of Ft. Pierce, FL and Barbara also of FL; sister, Dorothy and husband Bob Geiger of Brielle, NJ; grandchildren and their spouses, Jeremy Edward and Dawn Marie Thompson, Gregory Scott and Kelli Lynn Thompson, and Adam Alexander Weston Thompson; great grandchildren, Jonah and Micah Thompson. Funeral services were conducted Saturday May 3rd, at 10:30 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lisa Moore officiating. Music was provided by Min. Alan Abernathy and Elizabeth Hunt.
