Helen Dyer Dickey, age 81, of Blue Ridge passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Hellen was born in Higdon, GA on December 30, 1940 to the late Dock Dyer and Hester Jones Dyer. She worked as a seamstress for Levi Strauss, and she was a member of Bethany Church. Hellen enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David McCay; brothers, John, Ed, and Melvin Dyer; sister, Vina Foster; grandson, David Dickey; and great-grandchild, Davnee Dickey. Helen is survived by her daughters, Vickie Parris of Dalton, GA, and Debra Dickey of Epworth, GA; son, Steve Dickey of Epworth, GA; brothers, George Dyer of Blue Ridge, and Roba Dyer of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Carlen Postell of Ellijay, GA, and Susie Cook of Ringgold, GA; as well as, nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
