Hazel Watkins Plemmons, age 90, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on February 23, 2024 in the Copper Basin Health and Rehab. Hazel was born in Blue Ridge, GA on May 12, 1933 to the late Dixie and Bertha Shook Watkins. Hazel was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Cherry Log Baptist Church. She had worked many years in the Dry Cleaning industry in the area. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Gene Plemmons.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cindy Plemmons of Blue Ridge, GA; grandson, Andy Plemmons and grandaughter-in-law, Denise Plemmons of Athens, GA; great grandchildren, Alora and Anderson Plemmons both of Athens, GA; sister, Irene Center of Blue Ridge, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. from the Old Cherry Log Cemetery with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Music will be provided by Josh, Caleb, and Alice Griggs. Joe Plemmons, Andy Plemmons, Anderson Plemmons, Alora Plemmons, Josh Griggs, Caleb Griggs, and Tucker Griggs will serve as pallbearers.
