Mrs. Hazel Dunn, age 89, of Epworth, GA passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in the LifeCare Center in Ducktown, TN. Born in Fannin County, she was the daughter of the late John Clayton Brown and Radie Patterson Brown. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband Howard Wilburn Dunn; and children, Charles, Josephine, JoAnn, H.W., and J.W. Dunn. She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Patterson of Epworth; two sisters, Myrtle Patterson of Ellijay and Mae Waters of Blue Ridge; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Melvin O'Neal and Rev. Ed O'Neal officiating. Music was by the A.C. Caylor Family. Pallbearers were Darryl Watkins, Danny Kaylor, Tommy Watkins, Terry Dunn, John Dunn, and Timothy Dunn. Interment followed in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
