Mr. Harold Joe Rhodes, age 50, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. He was born in Marietta, GA on September 12, 1959 to the late William Lonzo and Kathleen Queen Rhodes. Harold operated R and N Sanitation. He enjoyed golfing, hot rod cars, camping, fishing and was of the Baptist Faith. Harold was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Rhodes and sisters, Diane Charles and Tina Rhodes. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Rhodes of the home; two sons, Devin Schnuphase and Brandon Rhodes of the home; two daughters, Chrissy (Cliff) Sloan of Hayden, AL and Jacklyn Schnuphase of the home; brother, Jackie Rhodes of McCaysville, GA; sister Annie Rhodes of Epworth, GA; nephews; Andy Rhodes of Epworth, GA and Chris Rhodes of Daytona, FL; nieces, Holly Morgan of McCaysville, GA and Janet Bailey of Ellijay, GA. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Chapel with Rev. Denise Caldwell and Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Music was by Lena and Jessie Hill, and Rev. Denise Caldwell. Interment followed in the Barnes Chapel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Doyle Nicholson, Jerry Verner, Carroll Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Chris Cobb and Joe Cowart.
