Harold Edward Dale, age 87, of Turtletown, TN passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Harold was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Rev. Arthur C. Dale and Nola Mae Passmore Dale. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Coast Guard as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, a member of the Ducktown Masonic Lodge # 241 F & AM also a member of the Scottish Rite and the Shrine. He had worked for the Dupont Company in Chattanooga, TN for thirty two years as a Laboratory Technician. He was also preceded in death by sons, Steve Dale and Bruce Scott Dale. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Dale of the home; son Michael Dale of Turtletown, TN, Michael (Dejah) Pack of Farner, TN; grandchildren, Casey Lynn Dale, Lucas (Caroline) Pack, Amanda (Casey) Young, Gracie Pack; great-grandchildren, Caitilan Pack, Peyton Pack, Eva Young. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 21, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. from the Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Housley officiating. Music will be by the Passmore Family. Pallbearers include Mike Pack, Lucas Pack, Casey Young, Casey Dale, Glen Hughes and Kenneth Beard. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Bro. Casey Dale officiating.
