Harold Kenneth Brown, 89, passed away, September 17, 2025. Born on December 7, 1935 in Cherokee County, North Carolina, to Leonard and Pauline (Boring) Brown, Harold graduated from boarding high school in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1954. He then served two years as an army medic and driver in Korea.

After his military service, Harold majored in business at Southern Missionary College (now Southern Adventist University) where he met Barbara Jean Bowman. They married February 14, 1965, and shared 57 years together in Atlanta, Georgia. Harold worked in the insurance industry and was a board member for his high school and the Layman's Foundation. Barbara worked for the College Board examiners and was a marvelous pianist playing at many churches throughout Georgia and Tennessee. Barbara passed away January 26, 2023.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her one sister, Marie, and is survived by a niece and a nephew. Harold was preceded in death by Barbara, his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by one sister, four nieces, and one nephew. Harold and Barbara are both interred in Shoal Creek Cemetery in Cherokee County, North Carolina.
