Harley Vance Beasley, age 92, of Turtletown, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 24, 1933, in Lakeland, FL, to the late Elijah Beasley and Beatrice Lassiter Beasley. Vance attended both Staffordtown Church and Power of Prayer Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Corinna Sherman Beasley; son-in-law, Mike Loudermilk; grandson, Kayden Loudermilk; granddaughter, Jennifer Theobald; brother, Bruce Beasley; and sister, Marianne Rusk.
Vance is survived by his children, Pam (Van) Cox, Nancy (Ross) Stuckman, Kathy Beasley, Karen Loudermilk, Keith (Teresa) Beasley, and Kristy Beasley; and thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM from the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel with Pastor James Parker officiating. Music was provided by Jessica Taylor. Interment followed in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Beasley, Joe Loudermilk, Frank Stuckman, Ross Stuckman, Van Cox, Leonard Beasley, and Adam Ferguson. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
