Mrs. Guinnda Kay Verner, age 65, of Turtletown, TN passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kay was of the Baptist Faith and a daughter of the late Robert Wade and Eula Mae Picklesimer Cole. She was an employee with the Copper Basin Federal Credit Union where she worked as a chief loan officer, office manager and branch manager. She enjoyed traveling as a hobby.She is survived by her loving husband of thirty eight years, Raymond Verner of the home; children, Christopher Lee Adams of Turtletown, TN, Brandy Michelle Adams of Chattanooga, TN and Brandon Patrick Trantham of Turtletown, TN; brothers, Jim (Patricia) Cole of Dalton, GA, Kevin Cole of Turtletown, TN; six grandchildren, Dustin Lee Adams, Sabrina LeAnn Adams, Kendra Keane Adams, Trinity Hope Adams, Destiny Adams and Kayla Denise Adams; four great-grandchildren, Landon Adams, Tristan Adams, Abby Deal and Braylen Adams. Many other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. from the Zion Hill cemetery with Rev. Jim Cole officiating. Pallbearers include Tim Cole, Jonathan Cole, Dustin Adams, Patrick Trantham, B.J. Chancey and Nathan Chancey.
