Gregory Scott Burnett, age 41, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008. Gregory was born in Gilmer County, Georgia and was employed with Action Towing as a Tow Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his father, James Burnett.Survivors include his wife, Dee Burnett of Blue Ridge, GA; two sons, Jeremy Burnett and Jefferey Burnett, both of Fairmount, GA; a daughter, Elizabeth Paige Burnett of Blue Ridge, GA; His mother, Margie Abercrombie Davis of Copperhill, TN; four brothers, Lynn and wife, Teresa Abercrombie of Postelle, TN, Stacy Davis of Copperhill, TN, James Davis of Newnan, GA, Doug Burnett of Blue Ridge, GA; one sister, Karen Cook of Calhoun, GA; many other relatives and friends.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 11 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Richard Peacock and Rev. Kevin Dilbeck officiating. Pallbearers included Matthew Gibson, Ted Gibson, Doug Burnett, Jim Loftis, Daniel Brown and Bobby Sayers.
