Greg L. Rider, age 57, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1966 in Copperhill, Tennessee to James Owen Rider and Carolyn Louise Carden Rider. He worked for many years in maintenance at Gold Kist (later, Pilgrim's Pride), at Harrah's Casino, and most recently at Blue Ridge Oil Change. Greg enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jodi Rider; sons, Cody Walker and Adam Rider; and grandchild, Finley Walker.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rider will be planned by the family at a later date.
