Mr. Grady Romaine Holloway, age 79, of Cherry Log, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Blue Ridge. He was born in Gilmer County on February 1, 1937 to the late William Thomas and Essie Mae Chapman Holloway. He was a member of Boardtown Church of Christ. He worked as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bessie Ann Gilliam Holloway. He is survived by his brother, Kirby Holloway of Cherry Log; sister, Lois Chastain of Rockmart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Johnny Bearden of Cherry Log and Carolyn and Billy Joe Howard of Cherry Log; brothers-in-law, Bill Gilliam of Canton and James Gilliam of Buford; sisters-in-law, Mary Adams of Blue Ridge and Margaret Bennett of Powder Springs; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services were conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from Boardtown Church of Christ. Kent O'Dell and Min. Johnny McKee officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
