The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces funeral services for Gloria Jean Wright Talley, age 68, of Copperhill, TN who passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010. Mrs. Talley was a native of Fannin County and was a daughter of the late Denson and Jean Adele Nix Wright. She had worked at Blue Ridge Textiles as a Sewing Machine Operator and was a member of the Midway Baptist Church in McCaysville, GA. She was a loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by her husband, James E. Talley of the home. Two sons, James D.(Regina) Talley of Ducktown, TN, Dennis L.(Sonya) Talley of Copperhill, TN; brothers, George Wright of McCaysville, GA, Denson Wright of McCaysville, GA. Four grandchildren, Dustin, Kayla, Cota and Timothy Talley.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m. from the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating. Music will be by Kenny O'Neal and John Newton. Pallbearers include, Shannon Wright, Steve Talley, Dennis Talley, Cota Talley, Timothy Talley and Johnny Ledford. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene barker and Dustin Talley. Interment will follow in the church cemetery .Mrs. Talley will lie in state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday.
