Glenn Earl Simonds, age 55, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 13, 1964 in Atlanta, GA to the late Robert Jewel Simonds and Elizabeth Bertha Gall Simonds. He is survived by his children, Katelynn Simonds, David Simonds, Tonya Simonds, and Amanda Bazzett; girlfriend, Kristy Beecher; siblings, Robert Simonds and Lisa Adkerson; and other cousins, nieces, and relatives also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Marsh officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
