Mr. Glenn "Pinky" Curtis, age 61, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Mr. Curtis was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a son of the late Lloyd and Myrtle Boggs Curtis. He was a self-employed timber cutter. He is survived by his wife, Sirretta Ann Goss Curtis of the home; stepmother, Lemma Stillwell of McCaysville, GA; two daughters, Stephanie McCart and Kristen Curtis, both of Blue Ridge, GA; two sisters, Barbara Nobles of Morristown, TN, Ruby Kephart of Murphy, NC; and one grandchild, Karmah Eaton of Blue Ridge. Funeral services were conducted Friday, November 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. John Wesley Payne and Rev. Jason Gainey officiating. Pallbearers will be Roger Kephart, Jamie Payne, Roger Stiles, Jim Davis, Charles Ensley, and Merle Kephart. Interment followed in MT. Pleasant Cemetery.
