Mrs. Glenda Hartness Marchant, age 69, of Smyrna , GA passed away on April 12, 2013 at Anderson Mill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Austell, GA. Mrs. Marchant was born in Ellijay, GA on June 1, 1943 to the late Cecil and Edith Jones Hartness. Mrs. Marchant was a business owner of rental properties and was a member of First Baptist Church Blue Ridge GA. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Bill Marchant of Smyrna, GA; several cousins and other relatives and friends also survive.Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jason Turner officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Williams, Barren Williams, Barry Williams, Shane Carden, Duane Hartness, and Tech Hartness. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Cemetery.
