Gladys Dillard Thomas, age 90, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 in Orlando, FL. Born on March 6, 1926 in Copperhill, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard and Mamie Ammens Dillard. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her husband, Lester Thomas recently precedes her in death. She is survived by her son, David Thomas of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie and David Pillsbury, Donna and John Richard, Carla, Shane and Shianne Thomas; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and several cousins and other relatives and friends..Funeral services were conducted on Friday, January 6, 2017, at 1:00 pm from Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with Rev. Claude Mathis officiating. Interment followed in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
