Geraldine Roper, age 75, of Acworth, GA passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, GA. Mrs. Roper was born in Union County, GA on November 12, 1940 to the late Elgin J. Allen and Grova Maie Stover Allen. She a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy P. Roper.Mrs. Roper is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Coy Dale Roper and Bonnie Roper of Epworth, GA and Roy Michael Roper, Sr. and Sheril Roper of Acworth, GA; daughter, Ginger Roper of Acworth, GA; three grandchildren, Roy Michael Roper, Jr., Kayla Cook, and Amber Roper; four great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Renny Ryder officiating. Interment followed in Toccoa Church Cemetery.
