Gerald Dee Bell, age 77 of Walhalla, SC passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at home. He was born on Tuesday, July 26, 1938 in Copperhill, TN to the late Olin Bell and Ruby Lucille Verner Bell. Mr. Bell retired from General Motors. He was also preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Suits.Survivors are his wife, Beverly Bell of Walhalla, SC; daughters, Mary Frances Wheeler of Roanoke, VA and Sherry; step-daughter, Beverley Scofield of Walhalla, SC; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorene B. Odom (James R. Odom, Sr.) of Stockbridge, GA, Kathleen Pinson (Jacky) of Lilburn, GA and Carol Jane Racukman (Bill) of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Summer Ann and Joseph Foley of Roanoke, VA.Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill Cemetery located at Airport Road, Copperhill, TN 37317 with the Rev.
