Geneva Marie Justice Brown, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 in the Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, GA She was born in Fannin County on April 26, 1927. She is preceded in death by mother, Ollie Davis Justice; father, Hiram Justice Evans; brother, Arlin Justice; three sisters, Sylvia Nelson, Elloise Fullmer and Dottie Finch. Mrs. Brown was a retired clerk/cashier with Tri-State EMC and a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. She enjoyed square-dancing and working in her yard.Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Patricia Brown of Blairsville, GA; step-mother, Bertha Evans of Yakima, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Chet and Judy Evans of Matlock, WA; brother-in-law, Ivan Nelson of Portland, Oregon; grandson, Carlton Brown of Blairsville, GA; grandson and spouse, Robby and Rachel Brown of Arkadelphia, AR; granddaughter and spouse, Becky and Brannon Dyer of Blairsville, GA; uncle, Evert Davis of Morganton, GA and several cousins also survive.Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Rodney Stamey and Dr. Charlie Howell officiating. Music was by Jessie and Lena Hill. Pallbearers were Robby Brown, Carlton Brown, Brannon Dyer, David McClamma, Ricky Bradburn and Jessie Hill.
