Mr. Gary Wade Prince, age 64, of Talking Rock, Georgia passed away on September 7, 2023 at his home. Gary was born on August 26, 1959 in Copperhill, Tennessee to the late Fred Taft Prince and Ila Hembree Prince. Gary was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a machinist for Lexington Insulators for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Tashina (Ben) Arnold of Talking Rock, GA and Gabrielle (Grant) Collis of Morganton, GA; brother, Larry Prince of Marietta, OH; grandchildren, Tug Arnold, Learah Arnold, Lettie Arnold, Haegen Collis, and Allison Collis; several nieces, nephews, a host of relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Grant Collis officiating. Interment followed in the Sunrise Tabernacle Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ben Arnold, Jonathan Milsaps, Larry Harper, Keith Gilliam, Joe Dockery, and Neal Collis. Graveside services were officiated by Rev. Jonathan Milsaps. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help defray final expenses.
