Gary Hanson Duggan, age 68 of Farner, TN who passed awaySaturday, March 9, 2013. Gary was a native of the Copper Basinarea and was a son of the late John Clyde and Stella Mae TaylorDuggan. He was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church and hadworked as a welder in maintenance for the Cities Service Company,He was preceded in death by siblings, Anita Raper, Betty Culler,Doris Duggan, Jimmy Duggan and J.C Duggan.He is survived by his loving wife Gladys Worthy Duggan of thehome; children, Charles (Michelle) Duggan of Mineral Bluff, GA,Terry (Wendy) Duggan of Canton, GA, Sherrie (Randy) Jenkins ofPowell, TN; sisters, Joyce Vest of Ocoee, TN, Rachel Ledford ofDelano, TN, Juanita Brown of Dalton, GA; special brother andsister-in-law, Robert and Ruby Worthy of Farner, TN; thirteengrandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 11th at 2:00 p.m.from the New Zion Baptist Church with Rev, Donald Weaver andRev, Farris Reid officiating. Music will be by Patricia Adams,Medra Palmer and Teresa Chastain. Pallbearers include AndrewCrago, Caleb Duggan, Roger Witt, Kevin Ledford, Scotty Ledfordand Keith Raper. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Thefamily will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mr. Duggan will lie-in-state at the churchMonday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
