Gail Bailey, age 66, of Bethlehem, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at her home. She was born on January 21, 1958 in Blue Ridge, Georgia to the late Thomas George Bailey and Barbara Lynn Tilley Bailey. A woman of great faith, Gail found peace in her Baptist beliefs and shared her love for Jesus with all she encountered. Her green thumb was unmatched, as she found joy in tending to both delicate flowers and vegetables. Gail loved antiques, and appreciated the stories and history woven into each piece. Her love for history extended into researching her own lineage. Devoted to her children and grandchildren, she embraced each moment with them as a gift, and was always there for them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Chandler Bailey; and son-in-law, Brett Allen.

Gail is survived by her life partner of 22 years, Gary Hunter; children, Tanya (Jarod) Andrews of Huntsville, AL, Scott (Jerri) Cole of Ft. Payne, AL, Cynthia (Lucas) Bertoli of Jasper, GA, Kristine (Joseph) Holt of Camden, NC, Jason (Mary) Hunter of Winder, GA, and Melissa Allen of Snellville, GA; she is also survived by 20 beautiful grandchildren; sister, Lynn Bailey Black; a host of many relatives and friends.

Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park. Special music was provided by Scott Cole.
