Freda Regina Porter Williamson, age 66 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. She was born on September 5, 1954, in Griffin, GA to the late William Cullen Porter and Maxine Putman Porter. Freda retired from the Fannin County Health Department as a registered nurse after twenty-seven years of service. She was a member of Colwell Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband Gerald Williamson of Blue Ridge, GA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Cody Williamson (Deanna) of Jasper, GA, and Brandon Williamson (Katherine) of Kingston, GA; grandchildren, Addilyn Williamson, Brody Williamson, Gabriella Williamson and Ava Bruce; and brother, Randy Porter (Sheri Peavler) of Dallas, GA also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the Colwell Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Chancey and Rev. Robby Chastain officiating. Music will be by the Tim Nicholson family, Ryan Chastain, Nancy Watkins, and Joel Collis. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Pallbearers will be Tim Nicholson, John Chastain, Robbie Harbour, Thomas Graham, Paul Allen, Morris Callihan, Corey Callihan and Rusty Cox. Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Nicholson, Matt Mathis, Charles Fish, Sam Parris, and Jeremy Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, August 8, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers are accepted, but if you wish memorial contributions may be made to the Colwell Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund, C/O Jane Callihan, P.O.
