The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces funeral services for Franklin Eugene, affectionately known as "Casey" , Crago, age 76 of Turtletown, TN who passed away Friday, March 12, 2010. Mr. Crago was born in Huntington, Indiana and was a son of the late Emerson and Luella Hite Crago, Sr. He was retired from the Tennessee Chemical Company where he worked in the Iron Roasters. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Turtletown Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Glenis Taylor Crago, brothers, George, Emerson, Jr., Charles and Melvin Crago and sister Betty Stallsmith. He is survived by two sons, Brent Crago and wife, Sonya of Cleveland, TN, Ryan Crago and wife Michelle of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Jill Crago Rose and husband Michael of Ducktown, TN; three sisters, Ina and husband, Paul Hite of Huntington, IN, Mae Bigelow of Andrews, Indiana, Bonnie Leyman of Huntington, Indiana; sister-in-law, Wanda Crago of Huntington,IN; five grandchildren, Andrew Crago, Casie Crago, Cody Cash, Matthew Wendling and Timothy Wendling. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 14, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Music will be by the Barker Family. Pallbearers include, Christopher Taylor, Greg Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Alan Taylor, Shea Mize, Jeff Patterson, Eddie Cole and Robert Devoti. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill cemetery.
