The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Frankie Jane Colwell Stiles, age 104, of Blue Ridge, GA who passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 in the Heritage Health Care Center of Blue Ridge. She was born in Union County, GA on August 17, 1905 to the late Allen Colwell and America Ledford Colwell. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Stiles was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herman Stiles; son, James Stiles; son-in-law, Dallas Huff; grandson, Danny Huff; granddaughter, Annette Barton; and great grandson, Travis Bolling. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Huff and Norma Stanley, both of Blue Ridge; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Pope and Rev. Kenneth Mann officiating. Music will be by Imogene Stewart. Pallbearers will be Mike Huff, Jr., Jody Huff, Mark Huff, Isaiah Hampton, Jeremiah Bolling, and Daniel Bolling. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Monday.
