Mrs. Frankie Lelah Hale, age 75, of Epworth, GA passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 in the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Mrs. Hale was born on September 19, 1934 in Fannin County to the John R. Foster and Effie Davenport Foster. She was a member of the Chapel of Prayer in Akron, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Thomas Hale; brothers, A.C. Foster, Arvin Thomas Foster, George Foster, and Namon Foster; and sister, Nellie Stepp Jones and Ruth Sluder. She is survived by a son, Gregory Hale of Murphy, NC; brother, Mayford Foster of McCaysville, GA; sister, Vernie Green of McCaysville, GA; and grandchildren, Nicole Hale and Tyler Hale, both of Blairsville, GA. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Ernest German and Rev. Jimmy Green officiating. Pallbearers were Paul Stepp, Steve Green, Winston Garrett, Stacey Kinsey, Tyler Hale, and Chris Hulsey. Interment followed in Hipps Chapel Community Cemetery. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements. .
