Mr. Frank Lee Ritchie, age 83, of Lickskillet Road, Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, December 08, 2011 in the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Ritchie was born in Fannin County, GA on January 26, 1928 to the late John Lee Ritchie and Cynthia Stafford Ritchie. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry G. Ritchie and his brothers and sisters, Wilson Ritchie, Oma Ritchie, Opal Jones, Audlee Ritchie, Opha Galloway, Ona Patterson, George W. Richie, Leland Ritchie, James Glenn Ritchie, and J.B. Ritchie. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Flossie Jeanette Jones Ritchie of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Lynn and Alan Charpentier of Sumter, SC; sister, Ora Green of Blue Ridge, GA; one grandchild, Paula Renee Neely and her husband Carson Neely of Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Dennis Morris and Min. Keith Ritchie officiating. Music was by the congregation. Pallbearers were Joey Curtis, Alan Ritchie, Johnnie Ritchie, Roger Ritchie, Jim Ritchie and Jim Carson. Interment followed in Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery.
