Mr. Frank Patterson, age 74, of the Mobile community passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Born in Fannin County, he was the son of the late William Lonas Patterson and Ruth Mae Brackett Patterson. He was self-employed as a sawmiller. Mr. Patterson was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Arlene G. Patterson of the Mobile Community; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Vanessa Patterson of Mobile and William and Kim Patterson of Blue Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kenny Adamson of Canton, GA; a brother, Jerry Patterson of Riverdale, GA; sisters, Norma Lea Johnson of Epworth, Betty Mathis of Dalton, GA, Hildred Doub of Melbourne, FL, and Margaret Watkins of Blue Ridge; six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ed O'Neal, Rev. Wallace Parks, and Rev. Gerald Payne officiating. Music was by the O'Neal Family. Pallbearers were Gary Patterson, Randy Patterson, Rob Patterson, Kevin Johnson, Stacy Watkins, and Willard Cantrell. Honorary Pallbearers were Junior Weeks, Lee Davis, Wilburn Jones, Harold Patterson, Arvil Patterson, Dr. Stephen Treon, Evans Ensley, and Danny Ensley. Interment followed in Mobile Cemetery.
