Frances Louise Porter, age 84, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA. She was the daughter of the late John Conley and Ollie Miller Conley. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Arvlee Porter. Mrs. Porter was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Margaret Porter of Blue Ridge; daughter, Frankie Hughes of Murphy, NC; brother, Reed Conley of Blue Ridge; sisters, Ruby Ward and Ruth Parris, both of Blue Ridge; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Pallbearers were Harlan Conley, Ricky Conley, Robby Conley, Steve Mathis, Allen Ward, and Buford Gibby.
