Flossie Jeanette Jones Ritchie, age 88, of Clover, SC formerly of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on May 25, 2022 in Clover, SC. She was born in Fannin County, GA on January 18, 1934 to the late Thomas M. and Mamie M. Campbell Jones. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her granddaughter, Paula learned to love the mountains through Jeanette by hiking and playing in creeks all throughout the North Georgia mountains. Jeanette was a wonderful cook and made the best lemon cream cheese pound cake and poke salad. Her faith was strong, as a long-time member of the Church of Christ. Jeanette was a treasure and will be missed by so many. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lee Ritchie; children, Larry G. Ritchie and Deborah Lynn Charpentier; siblings, Gladys Bearden, Clyde Jones, Othella Patterson, Holland Jones, Jeryl Jones, Tom "Junior" Jones, Eudean "Dean" Deilbeck, Rena Louise "Toni" Patterson, Florence "Poss" Jones, Bernice Curtis, Ronald Jones, Velma Davenport and Luther Jones. Survivors include her granddaughter and fiance, Paula Stephens and Corey James Allen of Clover, SC; a host of niece; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Keith Ritchie officiating. Congregational music was led by Bruce Pack.
