Faye S. Addison, age 98, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Addison was born on March 3, 1924 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Pearle Simonds and Margaret Witherow Simonds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Epworth. Mrs. Addison enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She enjoyed life and being with her family who considered her a wonderful cook and also stubborn but loving. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lowell Addison; son, Ricky L. Addison; daughter-in-law, Nadine Addison; granddaughter, Amber Lynn Addison; siblings, Jewel Simonds, Paul Simonds, Ed Simonds, Charlie Simonds, Homer Simonds, Viola Hicks, Marie Brown, and Haddy Lassinger. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (the late Richard) Matthews of McCaysville, GA; son, James Addison of Epworth, GA; daughter-in-law, Marni Addison of Brasstown, NC; grandchildren, Shelley (Jimmy) Allen, Stephen (Lisa) Matthews, Mandy Casey (Jason) Phillips, Josh (Sarah) Addison, and Sydni Addison; great grandchildren, Brandon Nicholson, Briana Nicholson, Bryce Nicholson, Harrison Phillips, Brennan Phillips, and Kristin Wilborn; great great grandchildren, Kade Nicholson, Nash Nicholson, Emorie Nicholson, Brayden Walker, Riley-Shae Walker, and Eli Wilborn; numerours nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Graveside services were conducted Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Hyde Cemetery in Copperhill, TN with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. Music was provided by Jimmy Allen. Pallbearers were Bryce Nicholson, Jason Phillips, Stephen Matthews, Jimmy Allen, Josh Addison, and Steve Ragalyi.
