Mrs. Fay Oleta Shields Weaver, age 84, of College Park, GA passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her home. She was born in Hot House, NC on June 23, 1932, to the late Harley Shields and Lowneys Fox Shields. She retired as an Insurance Agent for Weaver Insurance Agency and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Cecil Weaver and brother, James R. Shields. She is survived son and daughter-in-law, James and Diana Weaver of Ellijay; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Larry Dyer of Morganton and Angela and James McEachern of Fayetteville, GA ; sister, Helen Mae Arp of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law, Mattie Rose Shields; and ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Interment follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Weaver, Larry Dyer, James McEachern, Eric Weaver, Chris Brown, Craig McEachern, and Luke McEachern. Honorary pallbearers were Sammy Arp, Barry Martin Seagraves, Mickey Lundy, Brian Scott Keith, Markey Constiano, Hank Anklowitz, Rodney Shields, James E.
