Mr. Farrell McDonall Nelson, age 88, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on January 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Canton, GA to the late John Nelson and Nancy Melinda Swancey Nelson. Farrell was a retired experimental mechanic with Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA. He was also a member of the Ball Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Nelson was also preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Farrrell Nelson. Farrell is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nelson of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Joan and Gerald Orr of Jasper, GA; brother, Albert Nelson of Jasper, GA; daughter-in-law, Diana Nelson of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, William Nelson, Alisha Dempsey, and Raymond Orr; and four great grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Newton officiating. Music was provided by Jeff Payne. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Frankie Brown, David Rymer, Lynn Payne, Jason Payne, James Rymer and Jeff Payne.
