Evelyne Patterson Watson, age 79, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at her home. Evelyne was a native of Fannin County growing up in the Frytown area. She was retired as a self employed beautician and was a member of the Cherokee Indian Tribe of Dahlonega, GA. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, TN. She was preceded in death by parents, Leonard Bert and Ida Ensley Patterson, grandson Bradford Wilcoxon and son-in-law, John Roy Wilcoxon.Survivors include her husband of sixty five years, William Henry Watson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, William Ralph and Faye Watson of Gatlinburg, TN; daughter, Edith Grace Wilcoxon of Century, FL; sisters, Thelma Brewer of Benton, TN, Virginia and husband Browning Thomas of Ocoee, TN; Grandchildren, Scobie Lynn Wilcoxon, Sr, Timothy Scottie Watson and Shelly Watson; Great grandchildren, Scobie Lynn Wilcoxon, Jr., Tonie Lee Ann Wilcoxon, Colton Wilcoxon, Casey Wilcoxon, Daniel Wilcoxon and Hannah Wilcoxon.Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 2, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ed O'Neal and Rev. Melvin O'Neal officiating. Music was by Kenny and Kim O'Neal. Pallbearers were Scobie Wilcoxon, Sr., Scobie Wilcoxon, Jr., Scottie Watson, Casey Wilcoxon, Arvil Patterson and Danny Patterson. Interment followed in the Mobile Baptist Church cemetery.
