Mrs. Evelyn "Doll" Roberta Nichols, age 91 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Life Care of Copper Basin in Ducktown, TN. She was born in Fannin County, GA on August 12, 1921 to the late George Edwin and Leslie Pauline Baugh Nichols. Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker and member of Mineral Bluff Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Nichols; daughter, Valerie Ann Roper; sisters, Doris Collins and Jean Nichols.She is survived by a son, Gary Nichols of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter, Vivian Sikes of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Steve Sikes, Chris Sikes, Vicki Nichols Collis and Kayla Roper; and great grandson, Bradley Sikes.Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the Mineral Bluff Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins officiating. Music was by Nancy Watkins. Pallbearers were Brad Sikes, Brian Matthews, Chris Collis, Chris Sikes, Frank Collis and Terry Cates.
